Emy Todoroki-Schwartz,
Piano
 A native of
Japan, Emy Todoroki-Schwartz began
her musical training at the age of
three. In Japan, she studied with
Reiko Yamagishi and Noriko Nannin
while attending Tokyo College of
Music High School. Ms. Todoroki-Schwartz
completed her Bachelor's degree at
University of Texas at Austin as a
scholarship student. While in
Texas, she appeared in numerous
performances as a soloist,
accompanist, and a member of
University of Texas New Music
Ensemble. Her teachers have
included the late Danielle Martin,
and Dr. Dariuz Pawlas.
In 2005 Ms.
Todoroki-Schwartz moved to New York
to study with the world-renowned
Miyoko Lotto. Ms. Todoroki-Schwartz
has won numerous national and
international competitions , and
have performed with the orchestras
worldwide. Most recently, as a top
prize winner of the Artists
International competition, she will
be performing at Weill Recital Hall
at Carnegie Hall in their next
concert series. She now serves as an
adjunct faculty at the New York
University.
