Eva Huang, Piano

 

 


A versatile pianist, Ms. Shu-Yu Eva Huang has won numerous international awards, including Hsinchu Musician competition and city piano competition, Taiwan. Ms. Huang has performed both as soloist and a collaborative musician worldwide, including Hsinchu Cultural Center Concert Hall, Science Park Music Hall; and Yi-Kuang Concert Hall, Taichung, Taiwan. As an accomplished collaborative artist, Ms. Huang had frequently worked with many established vocal artists. Also as a dedicated piano educator, she has taught children and adults of all ages and levels.

 

A native of Taiwan, Ms. Huang began her piano study at age of 5 with Hui-Wen Chen. She came to the United States later and completed her bachelor's and Master’s degree in Piano Performance at the New England Conservatory under world-famous Alexander Korsantia who was the gold medal prize winner at Arthur Rubinstein Piano Competition. Ms. Huang has also been coached by renowned Gabriel Chodos and Randall Hodgkingson. Currently, Ms. Huang is completing her studies with Min Kwon at the Rutgers University as a Doctoral candidate majoring in Piano Performance
